January 11th and 12th (2 sessions)

1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday

Day 1 : Explore watercolor dying various Hanji papers to create enchanting backgrounds.

Day 2: Drawing on plexi using the drypoint technique. Explore any subject matter you want. This course is not limited to botanical designs. Line drawing on plexiglass glass plates combined with chin colle’ and hand colored paper will activate the ephemeral backgrounds created in Day 1. Have fun exploring Bode’s masterful Akua wiping techniques and add your own flair.

This course includes 8 Hours of class instruction and unlimited studio time for 1 week

following the workshop during open studio hours.  

Class fee includes: 1 plexiglass plate (8” x 10”), 1 piece of BFK, 1 piece of Hanji Paper, Akua Ink, Akua Tarletans, dry point tools and shop supplies.

$50 Fee will be taken for any class cancellations to cover our processing fees. No cancellations accepted 7 days before a class.
